ECB Interest Rates

The Governing Council of European Central Bank sets interest rates for the euro area. Interest rates are in percentages per annum.

Current rates effective 23 October 2024

Deposit Facility: 3.25%

The rate banks can use for overnight deposits with the Eurosystem.

Fixed Rate Tender: 3.40%

The rate that provides the bulk of liquidity to the banking system.

Marginal Lending: 3.65%

The rate that offers overnight credit to banks from the Eurosystem.
