EU Directive on Public Sector Information

The Regulations on the Re-Use of Public Sector Information 2005 S.I. No. 279 of 2005 implemented the EU Directive on the Re-Use of Public Sector Information 2003/98/EC, which sees public sector information as an increasingly important primary material for digital content, products and services.

The Directive encourages all Member States to promote the re-use of public sector information and expects that, by exploiting its potential, European companies will contribute to economic growth and job creation.

The Central Bank complies with these Regulations and we encourage the re-use of the information we produce subject to the conditions set out below.
