Planning for transition to net zero

“Transition planning” is a key tool for firms when aligning their business with a society that is transitioning to net zero.

Central Bank of Ireland has highlighted the importance of credible transition plans as a means to build resilience in firms and contribute towards a sustainable net zero economy. “Planning for the Transition to Net Zero – Our Perspective” aims to assist regulated firms to navigate the regulatory landscape, and provides an accessible roadmap for transition planning. This will allow firms to:

• Plan better
• Articulate how their own business model is aligned to support the transition
• Assist firms’ stakeholders in their transition planning
